Sandalwood fragrance. Scented sticks have been used in Eastern countries since time immemorial, especially for meditation, relaxation and bringing the body and mind into the harmony needed for prayers.

The first records of the use of incense sticks appear in ancient China, where they were part of Buddhist rituals. In India, too, scented ones are an essential part of religious ceremonies.

Here in Europe, sticks are mainly used for relaxation, scenting rooms as a diffuser, also to induce relaxation, through aromatherapy treatment but also in religious spiritual meditations and relaxation.

Our very long, densely twisted and high quality sticks have a burning time of up to 3 to 4 hours (also depends on its location and the ambient air flow).

Usage: to use such spiral scented sticks you need a stand to put the stick on.

For example, you can use a pebble on which you place the spiral in the centre. However, a stand that is directly made for these spiral sticks will look better.

To use a scented spiral: pull the spiral out carefully, they are fragile, be careful not to break them. Place it on the stand in the centre. Light the outer end of it and once the flame is lit, blow it out and let the scented spiral just smolder. We recommend using a saucer underneath the stand, as as the spiral burns the burnt ends will gradually fall off. You can also use a safer ceramic bowl in which to place the stand with the scented spiral and close the lid with the holes.

Caution: always keep the smouldering spiral under supervision. Use in well-ventilated rooms. Never leave the spiral unattended and in the presence of children or pets. After the coil has burned out, make sure it is completely extinguished.

TIP: if you don't have a stand, it can also be used by hanging an empty glass bottle from the neck of a small beverage bottle.
